This game is amazing, thank you so much! Might I make a few feature requests for future updates?
-Visual toggle for the title screen in the options to switch between "Press 5 to insert coin" / "Press 1 to start game" and "Insert coin to play" / "press P1 Start Button" -Toggle to make the "menu select" button the same as the "poop" button -Toggle to make the "complete name entry/hiscore" button the same as the "poop" button -Toggle to change the controls of the "complete name entry/hiscore" screen to 'up/down' select characters, 'poop' button advance to the next character, and make "BKSP" and "END" selectable entries in the character list
These would definitely make the game way more home arcade-friendly!
I've been secretly working on an "arcade" mode that will be in the "RetroPie" edition I'll release this 2024. This mode will "fix" some the things you mentioned ;)
Would love to see your interpretation of other arcade classics like Rally-X, Mappy, and perhaps even the mighty Pac-Man Arrangement. This is an A+ game, and you get two big thumbs up from me for including native Linux binaries.
Sideloading is possible on the iiRcade now. Any chance you'd be willing to compile a version that would work on that platform and making it available for download/purchase here like Cowcat did on itchio with Brok the Investigator? A lot of people in the iiRcade community were really looking forward to having this game on that platform and would love to buy it for their cabs. The sideloading iiRcade community is compiling a list of games that iiRcade owners can buy and sideload now (while still supporting developers) now that iiRcade is out of business. Thanks!
Having played the game for about a week I would say that time limit isn't that much of a problem anymore. Thinking about additional game modes it came to my mind perhaps some carrots could hide different hats (or colours) for the rabbit with different effects (a bit like in the breakout game "Arkanoid" or even in "Pac-Man") which you could collect and use or as a temporary one which fades away after ten to twenty seconds
Having grown up playing arcade machines at funfairs and games like "Tutti Frutti" on a C16, I appreciate your work and am going to buy the game when it's released on itch.io. I would like to ask you if an option could be included to turn off the time limit (or extending the time limit let's say by 5-10 sec with each mole you get off the screen) ?
About the option to turn off the time limit, right now it's not in our plans, mainly because the timer is in sync with the music. Same goes to adding seconds when defeating enemies. It would mess up the sync. But, I think it could be a good idea for a new "game mode", so we'll take it into account and see if we can implement it.
Thank you for your reply. That's clever to sync music with the timer. I just thought all processes would be stopped when the game or a level ends. Looking forward to game release (and perhaps the further addition of a new game mode after release)

Purchased this on itch.io. Thanks for making it available here. Still hoping you may put out an APK version at some point :)
Thank you very much!
And yeah, if you mean the iiRcade version, I'll work on it this 2024 ;)
That’s great news!

Thank you very much! I'm really glad you like my little game :D
I don't know yet what my next will be, but it will definitely be an arcade game
This game is / looks awesome! Odd question: It looks like the graphics are all 3/4 colors. Or has there been some leeway?
Great game. Keep it up!
Thank you! :)
I use a 16 colors palette, the PICO-8 palette, to be precise. But I don't think I'm using all the colors
Awesome! Thanks!
Do you have an APK version you could include in the bundle of downloads? Thanks!
Sorry, I don't have an APK.
Could you make a simple port for it? It should be easy with some button and the joystick asset
That cover art looks incredible! Did you commission it or make it yourself?
Thanks! Yeah, I think so, too :D
I commissioned it. I don't have the skills to make such beautiful art, hehe!
Wishlist worthy. Price's a steal. Guarantee fun.

Any plans for Steam integration?
What do you mean?
It will be out on Steam and there are achievements.
Oooh, is there a page up so I can wishlist?
Yeah, sure! https://store.steampowered.com/app/2148170/Murtop/
It took me a few tries to "get" it, but then I was hooked, really cool!
Thank you! :D
I'm really glad you enjoyed it!
It's true that it takes a little while to "get" it, but once you master it, it can bring great fun :P
